PAUL & PIPPA are friends from very different backgrounds: Paul is a Swedish architect who has lived in Barcelona for over 10 years, and Pippa is a designer of English origin who was born in Madrid and has made her home in Barcelona. They have the same circle of friends and they have both always been interested in gastronomy, design and craftsmanship.
Unable to find biscuits like the ones they imagined, one day they decided to embark on the adventure of creating an organic, gourmet brand. They would be meticulous about the origin of the raw materials and the way they were made, without overlooking design and communications. The upshot was Paul & Pippa.
They spent two years working on the biscuit recipes. One thing they were clear about from the outset was that they would be 100% artisan made entirely from natural ingredients, using real fruits and vegetables, and free from flavourings and additives.
As true lovers of the Mediterranean, one of the main ingredients in the recipes would be organic extra virgin olive oil, the best oil in the world, as well as organic spelt flour. With this common denominator they created 8 different flavours: sweet – lime, pure cocoa and salt flakes, natural coconut, apple and cinnamon, and savoury – tapenade, tomato, parmesan, and seeds. Characters were created to define each ingredient that makes up the big Paul & Pippa family.
Every day their biscuits are made using traditional and artisan methods in a small bakery, where quality is lovingly controlled. We hope you enjoy eating them as much as Paul & Pippa do making them. Organic handmade with love!
